Having racked up over half a million YouTube views already, 'German Whip' is currently on the Radio 1Xtra and Rinse FM A-lists, and has picked up big specialist support from the likes of Radio 1, Kiss and Capital. Now, following a freshly-inked deal with Acton's finest PMR Records, 'German Whip' will get an official release on 31st March.
It marks a new chapter for the Tottenham-based MC and former boxer who's been a key member of the North London collectives Meridian Crew and Bloodline, alongside the likes of President T, Skepta, JME, Big H, Bossman, Paper Pabs and Milli Major. It also marks an exciting new chapter for PMR Records, with Meridian Dan being the first Grime to be signed by the label who work with some of today's most vital new artists, including Disclosure, Jessie Ware, Cyril Hahn, Dornik and Javeon. Following the release of 'German Whip', PMR will release Meridian Dan's debut album later in 2014.
Dan comments: "I am over the moon about signing with PMR, and to be an artist on their super roster. We share a vision for broadening the scope for Grime music"
Meanwhile, Meridian Dan is set to perform at DJ Target and Danny Weed's brand new Pitched Up night at Birthdays, Dalston on Wednesday 29th January.
