Major Lazer Announces Headline Slot On The Mad Decent Boat Party 12th-16th November 2014

Mad Decent has announced The Mad Decent Boat Party November 12th-16th. The label has partnered with Atlanta-based Sixthman, the group responsible for the successful Kid Rock and Weezer cruises to produce their first ever Block Party at sea in conjunction with Norwegian Cruise Lines.  Setting sail November 12th from Miami, FL and making stops in Nassau and Norwegian Cruise Line's private Island Great Stirrup Cay Bahamas, The Mad Decent Boat party will feature performances across multiple stages aboard the state of the art Norwegian Cruise Line ship from artists Major Lazer, Flosstradamus, Dillon Francis, Diplo, Zeds Dead and more.  In addition to live performances, the four day event will include intimate fan experiences, live on-stage collaborations, games and more holding true to the Mad Decent Block Party concept that saw sales of over 127,000 tickets over the span of 14 dates last year alone, making way for Mad Decent to bring the party to the sea.

Guests traveling on The Mad Decent Boat Party will take advantage of Norwegian Pearl's 13 bars and lounges, 19 dining experiences, outdoor pool, hot tubs, expansive spa and fitness center and much more. In addition, guests can test their strength on the outdoor rock-climbing wall, bowl a few frames at the ship's bowling alley, or try their luck in The Pearl Club Casino. Norwegian Pearl features a wide range of stateroom categories to fit all lifestyles and budgets, from the perfectly appointed inside staterooms to luxurious penthouse suites in the Haven.

Pre-sale sign-ups for Mad Decent Boat Party begin 2/20/14. Guests wishing to sail onboard this exciting event can reserve their spot for as little as $200 down, based on double occupancy rates. This highly anticipated event goes on sale to the general public in February 27th. For additional information, visit the link below
