South London self-schooled multi-instrumentalist, producer and songwriter Jax Jones is readying the release of his debut single 'Go Deep' onSeptember 21 via Duke Dumont's Blasé Boys Club imprint. Recently unveiled to pick up enthusiastic support across the blogosphere, clocking up 200k plays on Soundcloud, now comes a fresh spin on the track courtesy of rising Manchester house producer TCTS.
Turning up the BPM of the lush and summery original, TCTS transports the anthemic, Janet Jackson-nodding hook into heady, dance-floor ready deep house territory.
Jax Jones recently made his ceremonious introduction as the collaborator on Duke Dumont's #1 single 'I GOT U', which has gone on to become one of the years biggest tracks and club anthems, topping the iTunes chart in 13 countries and going to no. 3 on the US Billboard chart.
Jax is also a resident DJ at the Blasé Boys Club residency at Sankey's in Ibiza throughout this summer, one of the island's most talked about lines this year.
Bringing together an eclectic set of influences honed from years of work and play as musician and record collector, 'Go Deep' effortlessly combines elements of 90's urban pop, the sparkling French house of Alan Braxe and DJ Falcon, DFA cowbells and a celebratory and transcendent chorus, rushing out of the gate like a summer dance floor call to arms.
