Jax Jones may not have an extensive repertoire as yet, but don't be surprised if you are already familiar with his name.
The South London based, self-schooled multi-instrumentalist, producer and songwriter recently made his ceremonious introduction as the collaborator on Duke Dumont's #1 single 'I GOT U', which has gone on to become one of the years biggest tracks and club anthems, topping the iTunes chart in 13 countries and going to no. 3 on the US Billboard chart.
Jax now steps up to the plate with his debut single, 'Go Deep'. Bringing together an eclectic set of influences honed from years of work and play as musician and record collector, 'Go Deep' effortlessly combines elements of 90's urban pop, the sparkling French house of Alan Braxe and DJ Falcon, DFA cowbells and a celebratory and transcendent chorus, rushing out of the gate like a summer dance floor call to arms.
'Go Deep' will be released September 7th via Blasé Boys Club, the label and artist collective helmed by Duke Dumont, a platform for him to showcase the most exciting up and coming talent in UK dance music. It will be accompanied by a special remix package with details to follow soon.
