The group consists of Jared Kolesar, his long time friend Michael Carter, Larry Gast III, Josh Morin, and Chuck Morriss III, Gabe Hall-Rodrigues. The band brings to the table an eclectic mix of Indie Rock, Folk, and Americana, subtle doses of Jazz and the Blues. If there's one common influence on an artist's work, it's certainly the landscape in which he lives. Their music has been called, compared and regarded by a number of different names, and they've been influenced and molded by many different events and people. But more than anything, They''d like to think that some shred of the Southwest - their home - can be found in the heart of their music.
Jared & The Mill have shared the stage with The Killers, Flogging Molly, Youngblood Hawke, Cake, Horse Feathers and Joe Pug to name a few. Their latest record Western Expansion is out now.
