Brand new alt-pop electronic quartet, Heymen debut their single 'If I Play Your Game' via X-Energy/d:vision Records this winter. Consisting of brothers, Jack and Marco Parisi (musicians, multi-instrumentalist, producers), Luca Bertolini (DJ and producer) and Ryan Ellingson (singer, songwriter), their unique sound is characterised by playing acoustic and vintage electronic instruments alongside the latest gadgets and software.
The Parisi brothers began their musical journey at a tender age, having found the knack for playing instruments (piano, drums, bass, guitar) well, they experimented with various obscure and vintage instruments as they got older, writing songs on old synthesizers, Fender Rhodes and Hammond organs. Marco also found time in between to become a worldwide ambassador and demonstrator for Korg, Roli and Studiologic. Childhood friend and established DJ/producer, Luca Bertolini joined the duo, along with web-discovered singer Ryan Ellingson and Heymen was born.
'If I Play Your Game' is a delightful slice of indie dance with a cheeky nod to disco that has found a home on celebrated house label, d:vision also home to revered acts like Dirty Vegas, Bob Sinclar, Francesco Rossi, Eric Morillo et al. Remixes come courtesy of rising German producer Alle Farben (Frans Zimmer), London collective Eat More Cake and EDM Italian star, Simon De Jano.
