Grammy Award Winner Ray Lamontagne Reveals 'Supernova' Album Cover Art And Track Listing

Grammy Award winner Ray LaMontagne releases the album cover art and track listing for his upcoming 5th studio album Supernova.  The album is set for release on May 6th.

Supernova was produced by Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys) and recorded in Nashville, TN.  The first single, Supernova was released last week and is the #1 most added track at AAA as well as #1 on Spotify's viral 50 chart. The single also landed on Entertainment Weekly's Must List stating the song, "captures young love with a rustic rock sound that evokes Van Morrison and Bob Seger."

Earlier today, Ray revealed to Time Magazine, "For the longest time these songs were eluding me. I felt like a kid trying to collect lightning bugs. I'd catch a glimpse out of the corner of my eye and run for it, but the light would go out just as I thought I'd gotten hold of one. But eventually I caught on to their game. I stopped chasing them altogether. Instead I just sat there as if I were completely disinterested in them. And wouldn't you know it, one by one they came to me! Flew right into my jar."

Ray LaMontagne has released 4 studio albums (Trouble, Till The Sun Turns Black, Gossip in the Grain and God Willin' & the Creek Don't Rise).  Ray's most recent critically acclaimed, Grammy award winning album God Willin' & the Creek Don't Rise debuted at #3 on the Billboard Top 200 and #1 on the Digital Album chart. This marked a personal sales best for Ray and tied his debut chart position at #3 with Gossip in the Grain.  God Willin' & the Creek Don't Rise garnered 3 Grammy Award nominations including the coveted Song of The Year category for "Beg Steal or Borrow" and won the Grammy for Best Contemporary Folk Album. The first single off the album, "Beg Steal or Borrow" became Ray's first radio #1.
