Rising star and French wunderkind Florian Picasso is closing out this year in prolific fashion, with an abundance of stunning new music in store for his fans across the globe. Kicking things off with a welcome return to remix duties comes the one and only take on Christina Perri'sStateside smash 'Burning Gold', which is out now via Big Beat Records.
Coming from a creative lineage like no other, Florian's productions have got a lot to live up to. Carrying the legend of his family's rich artistic history in style, each individual track he takes on is imbued with a unique style and vibrant quality to do his descent more than proud. Feeding off this pressure and channeling it into all lines of his work he has turned out stunning originals and brilliant remixes for a diverse spectrum of labels from Toolroom to Cr2, and this exclusive remix for the coveted Big Beat label is no different in quality. Remaining faithful to Christina, Florian keeps her refined vocals and the melody the star of the build up. Alongside Perri's rousing lyrics he begins to build with synth play and modulating drumbeats to lead us in to an expertly anthemic chorus that we would only expect from Florian. With the finished product elevating Christina's already brilliant track to a magnificent new space, little surprise he was hand picked as the track's only remixer.
With more of his own tracks and yet more incredible remixes on the horizon for 2014, Florian is set to start 2015 with huge momentum. Be sure to keep tabs across his socials for all further news!
