Dublin's Forbidden Fruit festival just keeps getting better! The fourteen new acts announced today confirmed what we all knew - it is going to be a bursting bag of juiciness at this year's Forbidden Fruit festival! Our new batch of announcements range from Sydney's JAGWAR MA making their debut appearance in Ireland to LA's noise rock band HEALTH and London's Simian Mobile Disco; each act is as titillating as the next.

These new acts will join the much anticipated KASABIAN, PRIMAL SCREAM, JAMES BLAKE, CHIC and many, many more when they rock the grounds of Kilmainham on the June bank holiday weekend. 2 jam-packed days of pure bliss. The Forbidden Fruit website will also go live today @ 12pm. Full details of the line-up & website below.

Los Angeles very own HEALTH, have been described as having artfully crafted noise and raw synth, haunting monotone vocals and drum skills that are borderline insane.. complete with their Zoohorn, they are one of the most unpredictable and gripping live acts you will see. Rarely seen on these shores, Forbidden Fruit is an unmissable opportunity to see this incredible act live.

English electronic duo, SIMIAN MOBILE DISCO are Kilmainham bound with a very special DJ set. These guys have been top of their game since bursting on to the scene with their debut album "Attack; Decay; Sustain; Release". Singles such as "It's The Beat", "I Believe" and "Hustler" took the world by storm and they haven't looked back since. Now on their third album, it's with little debate that Simian Mobile Disco are one of the most important electronic duos of the past decade. They are simply the best at what they do.

As revealed yesterday, Sydney duo, JAGWAR MA will join Saturday's already tempting Forbidden Fruit line-up. Jagwar Ma broke onto the scene with their spectacular debut single 'The Throw' which introduced them as impenitent Madchester revivalists, two Australian's putting on a modernized show of a scene they never actually experienced first-hand, but do it with incredible conviction. Jagwar Ma's debut album 'Howlin'' is due for release on the 7th of June - i.e. after they storm the stage with their Madchester madness in Kilmainham.

KORELESS is part of the new generation of young producers rising fast through the net-fed bass community. Lewis Roberts music exudes maturity, nuzzling in the ever-expanding dub-step lexicon somewhere between softened 2 step and soulful electronica. He will take to the stage on Sunday in Kilmainham.

Following tours with Two Door Cinema Club and Bastille earlier this year, Indie rock band, SWIM DEEP are set to release their debut album 'Where the Heaven Are We' in July of this year. According to NME, Swim Deep are said to be 'on the cusp of stepping into the big league' don't miss them on the Saturday at Forbidden Fruit.

The TRINITY ORCHESTRA's cutting edge performances always create a stir, whether it's in a tent in Kilmainham or online going viral, no one can deny, the Trinity Orchestra's shows are always jaw-dropping. This year at Forbidden Fruit is going to be no different when Trinity Orchestra play Queen.

Playing on the back of releasing their brand new second album 'Supermigration' to great international acclaim, Irish duo, John Kowalski and Rian Trench are SOLAR BEARS. The electronic music duo's inspiration comes from opposite ends of the track, from world cinema and composers such as the legendary Ennio Morricone to electronica. This diversity attributes largely to their unique sound which incorporates a mix of programming, acoustic instruments, synths and vintage tapes- every inch abounding with depth and subtleties, and the occasional pop hook breaking through. Be sure to bask in the electronic bliss of Solar Bears on the Sunday of Forbidden Fruit.

Dublin born rockers, THE HOT SPROCKETS, one of the best live bands in the country in our opinion, can be summed up in one line from a review of their last Dublin gig, 'A manic night of pure unpretentious rock delivered expertly by the hardest working band in Irish rock.' (Golden Plec review)

2013 is set to be a mighty year for THE MIGHTY STEF. Known for embracing the glory of rock'n'roll, the Dublin alt-rock band are set to make a more ambitious move with the musical direction with their sound, as they unleash their new sounds on the crowds in Kilmainham.

Alternative electronic rock outfit HALVES are sure to put on a stunning show on the grounds of Kilmainham. Their much talked about sold out show at The Unitarian Church in 2011 led to the band taking a time out from live performances and this will be their first live appearance in Dublin since that show. They will be debuting a brand new, never before seen, show that we can't wait to see! The Dubliners are also due to release their second album this year - we're told it's not half bad!

Londoner RAINY MILO sings with passion. Her voice is startlingly beautiful with a scattered raspi-ness that recalls all the finest moments of 90's r'n'b. Her Debut EP features a yearning, melancholic version of 'Come Up and See Me'. If it does rain on the June bank holiday weekend, Rainy Milo's wonderful voice will provide the perfect backdrop to keep you warm in Kilmainham.

Dublin based, GHOST ESTATES have been described as 'A euphoric sound built for the live stage' (The Point of Everything). We know they're right, check it out for yourselves. Watch them blow the crowds away with their ambient and melodic music that melds different genres together to make an intriguing show.

DAITHI is a man on a fiddle - but not just any ol' fiddle. Daithi has a fancy fiddle. His unique style which uses a mix of loopstations, synthesizers, kaoss pads and drum machines to create a truly exceptional sound will make for one juicy act in the Forbidden Fruit basket.

Gaz LeRock is bringing his scorching outfit HOT COLOSSUS to Kilmainham. Former frontman for Retarded Cop, LeRock is known for churning out catchy punk-pop tunes. Don't miss these guys in Kilmainham on Saturday.

Belinda Kelly, Marketing Manager for Bulmers Ireland said, "This completed line-up makes for an amazing festival of the best and most diverse music around.   At Bulmers, we are finalising our own plans for making sure festival-goers have a brilliant two days at Forbidden Fruit, so watch this space for more details over the coming weeks."

The Forbidden Fruit website will go live today at 12pm. The website is bursting with juicy tidbits and tips on how to have the best festival ever

Also, let's not forget about Deezer.. Deezer and Forbidden Fruit are delighted to team up for a second year running. This year, users and fans of the Forbidden Fruit website and facebook page will get the chance to listen to the dedicated festival radio channel via Deezer widgets, not to forget the opportunity to (re)discover and listen to the full discography of the line-up from their pages.
