Essex, South East England positive punk/hardcore band GIANTS have today revealed they will be releasing a brand new video for track Won't Be Told from the latest These Are The Days release. The video is made up from their mountainous stockpile of footage taken during their relentless touring in 2012. The band hit the road in March for a string of UK headline tour dates with much more to be announced for 2013.
Born out of a shared all-or-nothing approach to life and an obsession with skateboarding bordering on the unhealthy, the quintet have carved out a niche in recent years with their trademark million-miles-an-hour, hard hitting, melodic songs that hark back to the golden age of skate punk where the Oi and the Whoah reigned supreme, shows were heaving and the music was king.
GIANTS thrive in the chaos of the live setting, as was evident in 2012 as they took to the road with The Bled on their final UK tour. Their latest record 'These Are The Days', which promotes positive thinking throughout the hardest of times ,received critical acclaim from the alternative press and heralded the arrival of a leaner, meaner sound that saw the band embark on shows and tours with We Are The Ocean, The Ghost Inside, Deez Nuts, Break Even, The Departed, Graderand Palm Reader. Slots at Crash Doubt and Hevy festivals rounded off an exceptional 2012.
With this strong DIY ethic, the band have been able to tour the UK & Europe relentlessly since their inception in 2009 and they're showing no signs of stopping as they announce their latest slew of dates for 2013 throughout March and April. Heading back into the studio this spring to craft their next release, there's plenty to look forward to in camp GIANTS - as long as there's time to fit in a skate session here and there.
