Cmw Announces Initial Festival Line-up With Performances By Mia, Ellie Goulding And More

Now in its 32nd year, Canadian Music Week (CMW) is Canada's largest and most influential music and media conference and festival. It is one of the most respected and best attended music business and entertainment events in the world.

The CMW Festival spans five nights of concerts with more than 1000 performing artists from 40 countries at more than 60 live music venues throughout downtown Toronto. CMW helps build exposure and provides additional educational networking opportunities for artists through its conferences while allowing music fans to discover new acts and see some of their favorites play.

In addition to it's artist lineup, CMW 2014 confirmed programming to date includes: celebrity interviews with artists deadmau5, Nile Rodgers, Amanda Palmer, Bruce Cockburn and City and Colour; keynotes from music industry veterans Terry Ellis (Chrysalis Music), Martin Mills (Beggars Group), Daniel Glass (Glassnote), and Shelly Finkel (SFX Entertainment), as well as progressive movers Tom Windish (The Windish Agency), David Shing (AOL), Lee Trink (Manager - Kid Rock), PJ Bloom (Music Superviser - Glee), and Matthew Adell (Beatport); exceptional one-on-ones with social media and tech gurus John McAfee, Gary Shapiro (CES), Gary Vaynerchuk, and Erik Martin (Reddit)
