Dublin trio Cloud Castle Lake will release their debut EP, 'Dandelion' on 22nd September through Happy Valley Records.
'Sync', the EP's opening track, is streaming now with the band also announcing two new live dates to coincide with the EP's release in September in their native Dublin and London.
Establishing their name with a series of incendiary live shows with the likes of Glasser and Nigel Godrich's Ultraísta, the trio of Daniel McAuley, Brendan Jenkinson and Rory O'Connor spent their formative months finely honing their craft away from invasive eyes. Removing themselves from their hometown surrounds, 'Dandelion' was created in select studios and locations around Ireland.
An emphatic statement confirming their youthful ambition, 'Dandelion' displays a trio coming to a new peak of their eclectic powers. Shooting through influence from pastoral folk to soaring instrumental melodies - all held together by vocalist Daniel McAuley's remarkable falsetto - Cloud Castle Lake's patience, intelligence and bravery is rewarded within the breathtaking scope of 'Dandelion'.
