Beautiful Boy began life in January 2013 when singer and guitarist Dane Etteridge first played songs he'd written the previous summer to long-time friends. Soon after this meeting, the five-piece began rehearsing in earnest in their hometown of Brighton, reshaping the raw demos into an engaging and powerful live set.
Following a fruitful recording session in the summer, Beautiful Boy made their online debut in August with 'Home', which received glowing praise across the board. Support slots with The Jezebels, The View, Luke Sital-Singh, Matthew And The Atlas, Treetop Flyers and Goldheart Assembly quickly followed, cementing the quintet's rise to recognition.
Raygun Records are proud to announce that Beautiful Boy's debut double A-sided single 'Home/Love Me More' will be released on May 19th on a limited run of 300 7" Vinyl. The single shows off the exceptional breadth of the band's sound - from the heartfelt plea for redemption that is 'Home', to the pounding, rousing indie anthem of 'Love Me More'.
