She’s a Chanel brand ambassador, an ex-roommate to Sienna Miller, a successful model in her own right and older sister to Cara Delevingne, who is currently the most coveted supermodel in the world. But that doesn’t mean that Poppy Delevingne’s wedding had to be the best wedding, ever. Oh, OK, it sort of does.

Poppy married long-term boyfriend James Cook on Friday last week, in a star-studded ceremony that could outdo the Cannes Film Festival red carpet. The couple had become engaged in 2012 and their wedding was one of the most anticipated events on any socialite’s calendar. Among the famous faces who attended the wedding were ex-Spice Girl, Geri Halliwell and Andrew Lloyd Webber.

Both of Poppy's sisters, Cara and Chloe, attended the wedding, as well as her father, Charles Delevingne, who gave the bride away.  Pregnant Chloe wore the famous 'Cloud' dress by Victoria Beckham, while Cara complimented her sister's wedding dress in a cream gown.  29 year old Chloe married her first husband at the same venue in 2007, although she is now re-married...to the usher from her first wedding.  Awkward.

Cara's rumoured girlfriend, Michelle Rodriguez, was nowhere to be seen, adding fuel to the rumours that the pair have decided to call it quits on their relationship.

After the nuptials at St. Paul’s Church in London, where little sister Cara acted as an attentive bridesmaid, Poppy ditched her custom-made Chanel wedding dress to party at celeb hangout, Chiltern Firehouse. When we say she ditched it, what we really mean is that she detached the lacy under half which instantly transformed her bridal gown into a stylish Chanel minidress. We’ve got to admit, that’s a super smart idea, right there. Next time we have a Chanel bridal gown custom-made, we’ll ask for the exact same thing.

Poppy’s celebrations didn’t end there. Once all was said and done, Poppy and her new husband have done one last thing to make sure that the day will never be forgotten. The pair appear to have had the date of the wedding tattooed onto their arms, both posting similar images on their Instagram accounts. That means James never has an excuse to forget their anniversary!  In retrospect, maybe not the wisest move.
