Elton John vs Pnau, Good Morning To The Night Album Review

When it comes to remixing (or reimagining) golden oldies, it can either sound very good (take Norman Cook's work with countless blues numbers) or very bad indeed (tune into Radio 1 for a smorgasbord of terrible remakes and rehashes). Interview with PNAU

Celebrity backings don't get much bigger than Sir Elton John, so when he asked PNAU to reinvent some of his extensive back catalogue they naturally jump to the chance. The new single to be released from the collaborative album Good Morning To The Night is set to be released on the same day as the album and maintains the same impressive reimagining of Elton's work as previous single, the titular 'Good Morning To The Night'.

The name Littlemore may ring more than a few bells though, not probably because of his involvement in Teenager, the band he shared a berth with Pip "Ladyhawke" Brown in, but probably because of his involvement as one half of Empire of The Sun.
