Rapper Plies Is Asking A Judge To Dismiss A Lawsuit He Is Facing Over A Cancelled Concert.
Bosses at promotions company Delmont Promotions sued the Shawty star in 2013, claiming he pulled out of a show in 2008 due to a scheduling conflict.
Officials at the firm estimated they lost $750,000 (£468,750) in profits and asked a judge to grant a default judgment after the 39 year old failed to respond to the suit.
In August (15), they were awarded $504,000 (£315,000) plus interest, but the ruling was dismissed last month (Oct15) after Plies argued he was unaware of the case because he was not served with legal papers.

The hip-hop star alleges he gave her more than enough to find a suitable tree to help decorate his pad, but she instead returned with what he claims is the plant from her own house - suggesting she pocketed the cash for herself.
Venting about his mum's alleged actions in an Instagram.com video, he says, "Dog, I'da give my mama two stacks, two f**king thousand dollars to go get me a Christmas tree and put my Christmas tree up in my house.
