Pixie Lott is to take part in this year's 'Strictly Come Dancing'.

The 23-year-old beauty will be among the 15 celebrities who take to the dancefloor to compete for the coveted glitterball trophy.

Announcing he decision to join the 'Strictly' crew, the 'All About Tonight' hitmaker said: ''I'm so excited to be doing Strictly, it's going to be a lot of fun. I always want to push myself as a performer so can't wait to learn the routines.''

Pixie, who is currently is dating male model Oliver Cheshire, hinted at the exciting news earlier in the day, when she posted a number of cryptic messages on her Twitter account.

She said: ''Ahhh, got something very special to reveal soon cats ...

''So excited! Some news is coming, can't wait to tell you! Announcement soon at 2.30PM UK time... so watch this space for news (sic).''

Pixie is the eleventh celebrity to confirm her place on the show , which will also feature The Saturdays singer Frankie Sandford, Andy Murray's mother Judy and former 'The Only Way Is Essex' star Mark Wright.

Other famous names already confirmed include BBC Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills, 'This Morning's' Alison Hammond, former professional rugby player Thom Evans and Blue singer Simon Webbe, as well as 'EastEnders' actor Jake Wood, Steve Backshall and Sunetra Sarker.

A further four names are still to be announced.
