Kate's sister has lost her job as a Daily Telegraph columnist.
Pippa Middleton has allegedly been sacked from her job as a columnist for the British newspaper, The Daily Telegraph. Reports state that the 30 year-old socialite, writer and sister to Duchess Catherine will not have her contract with the paper renewed after just six months tenure.
Pippa Middleton Reportedly Won't Be Writing For The Daily Telegraph Any More.
Kate's younger sister began writing for the paper's Sport and Social column last September but after half a year and over thirty articles the Telegraph has washed its hands of the Reading-born brunette.
"The readers just weren't into it," a source told Us Weekly. "There was a lot of negative mail coming in after each column and there were too many off-limit subjects for her. They ran out of ideas," the source added.
The Socialite & Author's Column Allegedly Didn't Go Down Too Well With Readers.
It has been speculated that in these austerity-tempered British times, Pippa's subject choices of cocktail making, sailing, oyster-sampling and roller-skiing didn't go down well with the average reader. Pippa has been previously criticised for cashing in on her connections after she released the party planning book Celebration, which only sold 18,000 copies.
Pippa & Her Boyfriend Nico Jackson Are Said To Be Planning For The Future.
Pippa hasn't commented publically on her ousting but by all accounts the younger Middleton daughter has more exciting things on her mind. Rumours have been buzzing for months that she and boyfriend Nico Jackson could be about to get engaged - or even imminently married - with children to follow soon after if the stories are to be believed.
Pippa will still be a contributor to upmarket supermarket magazine Waitrose Kitchen, and Vanity Fair magazine.
