Music mogul Antonio 'L.A.' Reid is set to reunite with Pink and Usher as the reported new boss of Sony Music offshoot Epic.
Reid, who was the first judge to sign on for Simon Cowell's new TV talent show The X Factor earlier this year (11), has yet to confirm the big industry news, but The Hollywood Reporter suggests he'll be the new chairman at the restructured Epic Label Group.
The role will mean the former Def Jam Records boss will oversee the careers of Pink and Usher, the two artists he discovered and developed.
Reid is expected to take over from songwriter Amanda Ghost, who quit the label last year (10).
According to an insider, Reid has already started recruiting new acts, including Internet superduo Karmin.
