For the second time in a month, Piers Morgan has seen a guest leave him high and dry just before air time, as Kelsey Grammer bailed on him Wednesday night. Unlike Rep. Todd Akin, who failed to show up last month to defend his controversial remarks about legitimate rape, Grammer reportedly was actually in the CNN studio when he decided to do an about-face and retreat. Morgan later said in a tweet that the actor had become upset when he saw a photo of his ex-wife Camille in an opening teaser on a monitor. Extraordinary. Never had this happen before, he said. I like Kelsey Grammer personally, but this was a shockingly unprofessional thing to do. I wasn't even going to mention his ex-wife! But Grammer's publicist, Stan Rosenfield, told The Hollywood Reporter, Piers needs to take responsibility for what he did to Kelsey. It's called accountability. Grammer is currently promoting the second season of Boss, his new sitcom on the Starz pay-TV channel.
