Vegan hot dogs contain roughly a third of the fat and calories of their fleshy counterparts - and they help prevent animals from enduring extreme suffering on factory farms and in abattoirs. They're also "greener", as the meat industry is a leading cause of environmental devastation, including greenhouse-gas emissions. PETA - whose motto reads, in part, that "animals are not ours to eat" - encourages all caring people to replace meat with tasty vegan meals. - London, United Kingdom - Tuesday 11th August 2015 (3 Pictures)
