President Lincoln was taken to Peterson's Boarding House after he was shot by John Wilkes Booth at the Ford's Theater across the street. He was in coma for 9 hours before dying. The Peterson House has a few pillows with Lincoln's blood on them. Peterson's Boarding House is now a museum run by the National Park Service. - Monday 11th February 2008
