FASCINATING FACT 4116 The organiser of British music festival Glastonbury is donating profits from the renowned summer event to struggling banana farmers in Latin America. MICHAEL EAVIS will hand over $140,000 (GBP74,000) to charity Banana Link, which aims to help banana producers negotiate a better deal with European supermarkets by employing union leaders in key South American countries. 17/10/2007
