LADY GAGA showed up at the MTV Video Music Awards sporting a gold Phantom of The Opera mask, with Muppet frog Kermit as her date. The singer kissed the puppet as she stepped out of her limousine. She joked, "This is our first date. We've been eyeing each other for some time... You're so handsome tonight, Kermit!"
