TV personality JERRY SPRINGER has quit as the host of AMERICA'S GOT TALENT to concentrate on other projects. Springer announced his departure in a statement, calling his time on the show "a wild ride", but revealing he is bowing out to spend more time working on his long-running talk show and an upcoming theatre role.
