JASON BATEMAN has signed on to star alongside GEORGE CLOONEY in new film UP IN THE AIR. Bateman will play Clooney's boss in the movie, based on a novel by WALTER KIRN, as the OCEAN'S ELEVEN actor obsesses over collecting one million frequent flyer miles before he's fired by his employer.
