FASCINATING FACT 8101


GEORGE CLOONEY has been honoured for his contribution to the arts in his home state of Kentucky. The Ocean's Eleven star was named the recipient of the National Award in the 2009 Kentucky Governor's Awards in the Arts in recognition of his illustrious movie career. Clooney's parents, Nick and Nina, collected the honour on his behalf at the ceremony on Tuesday (06Oct09).
