FASCINATING FACT 1376

British pop wannabe GARETH GATES was yesterday (12APR06) dropped by his record label Sony BMG after failing to produce a chart hit in nearly three years. The 21-year-old shot to fame after finishing as runner-up on UK talent show POP IDOL in 2002.
