Gareth tried to avoid being photographed with the woman, and the pair parted before snappers had a chance to picture them holding hands. He was at first refused entry to the eatery, but begged the doorman to be let in because of the photographers. He was eventually allowed in, and left separately from the woman, at 5.00am.
