Pic: Jonas' 16th birthday present pooch has parasites. Teen pop star NICK JONAS' 16th birthday present puppy came with a surprise of its own - the pooch is suffering from parasites.. Jonas was handed the dog on Tuesday (16Sep08) by his famous family, to mark the special occasion.. He named him Elvis - after the rockers Elvis Presley and Elvis Costello - and has been taking his new best friend on walks around his Hollywood home since.. But Jonas had to cut short their fun on Wednesday (17Sep08) and dash to a Los Angeles' vet surgery, after discovering the cute puppy has ticks. . . Los Angeles, California - 17.09.08
