"I was doing half a gallon of rum with a fifth of rum on the side, 28 beers and three grams of cocaine a day. And that wasn't getting high, that was just to keep going. I used to say it never affected my work, but f**k, it was like a nightmare rollercoaster, paranoid schizophrenic journey that was totally crazy." Former alcoholic and drug abuser DENNIS HOPPER describes a normal day at the height of his addiction.
