Director ANG LEE and producer JAMES SCHAMUS will be presented with the inaugural Freedom Of Expression award at the movie industry's ShoWest Convention in Las Vegas on 11 March (08) - for releasing LUST, CAUTION with the restrictive NC-17 rating in the U.S. last year (07). The pair refused to cut their film to secure an R rating; an NC-17 rating means nobody under the age of 17 is permitted into cinemas and potentially limits the film's box office success.
