R+B star AKON made American chart history when his SMACK THAT single rose 88 places, from 95 to seven, on last week's (ends08OCT06) Billboard Hot 100. The previous record was geld by VANESSA HUDGENS, ZAC EFRON and ANDREW SEELEY's BREAKING FREE which climbed 82 places in February (06).
