COLDPLAY's GRAMMY-winning hit CLOCKS almost didn't make it onto the group's A RUSH OF BLOOD TO THE HEAD album, because CHRIS MARTIN wrote the tune after the group had already decided on the playlist for the CD. The British quartet recorded the track for an upcoming album but a friend insisted they reconsider their decision.
