The earliest known recording of Welsh singer TOM JONES is set to be sold for $6,000 (GBP3,000) when it is sold at an auction at Christie's in London on 10 July (08). The tape contains four songs and was recorded in a restroom. 30/06/2008

| I wish I could talk with Tom. This is a great picture. I was really close friends with his permoter Frank Leffel and wife Irma that was with mercury records. I went to some parties when Tom came into town and would like to talk about Frank's death and the wherabouts of Irma. Always had great respect for Tom. He's the best. Glad he has done a new album. | ||
