This is the house that could cost Tiger Woods up to half of his billion dollar fortune. Wife Elin Nordegren is expected to use the fact that her husband owns property in California to file for divorce in the state. Under California’s“no fault” divorce law, the Swedish blonde beauty and mother of the shamed golfer’s two kids could win a much bigger payout than if she files for legal separation in Florida, where the family lives. According to reports, Elin has already hired top divorce attorney Sorrell Trope - who worked on divorces for Nicole Kidman, Nicolas Cage and Britney Spears - to fight for her share of Tiger's fortune after he apologised for his trangressions following reports he had cheated on his wife with a string of women. A source close to Elin told People magazine, She plans to leave Tiger. She's made up her mind. There's nothing to think about - he's never going to change. Tiger’s California property overlooks the Pacific Ocean in the exclusive Corona del Mar, located 50 miles south of Los Angeles. He paid $3 million for the lavish home in 2004. The couple was a very private family and neighbours claim they had not seen the Woods at the property in several months. One said, They were always pleasant but didn’t socialise that much. The mansion has become something of a landmark since news of the cheating scandal broke in November (09), with curious tourists stopping by the quiet community to check out Tiger's lair.
