H from Steps * FALLEN STARS RESORT TO FLOGGING AUTOGRAPHS FOR CASH Fallen celebrities including boybands FIVE, ANOTHER LEVEL, STEPS and S CLUB 7 have reached desperate times. The former pop stars, including Bradley Macintosh of S Club 7, Lisa Scott Lee of Steps fame, and Another Level's Dane Bowers, all once topped the charts and performed to arenas of screaming fans - but these days they are so strapped for cash that they are trying to make a few bucks from flogging their autographs to shoppers at drab commercial centres. But for the bunch of desperate has-beens, the idea spectacularly crashed as hardly anybody turned up to see them. Despite promotion company MusicMania's promise of "the incredible buzz of getting to know your favourite music idols from the last three decades, including The Cheeky Girls, Another Level, Steps, S Club, 911, Five and many others", less than 100 punters showed up at the dreary Centre:mk shopping complex in Milton Keynes to rub shoulders with the former stars. For the few who had - many were shocked to discover a catch hidden among the small print of their tickets saying that fans would have to pay for their autographs and photos - at £10 a pop. But cash-strapped customers were offered a special deal from fallen boyband Five - they were offering autographs at £10 a go - and £20 for all three members Ritchie, J and Scott.
