A Broadway star will be honoured at next year's (09) Tony Awards for their philanthropic efforts when the New York event gives praise to a member of the theatre community who has volunteered their time to humanitarian efforts. The chosen recipient will receive the Isabelle Stevenson Award for the first time. The prize is named after the former president of the American Theater Wing, who died in 2003. 10/10/2008
