Veteran actress JANE FONDA defied fashion critics during an appearance on U.S. TV's LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN on Tuesday night (19May09) when she wore the same cream-coloured outfit she donned on her last outing on the programme. When host Letterman commented on the familiar-looking clothing, Fonda said, "Yes, I wore this the last time I was on the show. I'm taking a stand against this fashion law that says you can only wear things once. They say, 'God forbid you should show up in the same outfit you've worn to a previous event', so I'm taking a stand." 21/05/2009
