Now Shevell's divorce is finalised, friends of the singer suspect McCartney will be popping the question any day.. A pal tells British tabloid The Sunday Mirror, Paul is a big believer in the institution of marriage, and his friends are in absolutely no doubt he will propose to Nancy in time.. McCartney's daughter Stella has given her dad her blessing over the relationship and has told friends that Shevell would make an ideal stepmother.. Even McCartney's ex-wife Heather Mills doesn't have a bad word to say about Shevell.. She tells Page Six magazine, I've been dating a very hot, humble English guy for nine months.
