* CAGE THRILLS EX AT FASHION LAUNCH PARTY Nicolas Cage gave his former partner a big boost in Hollywood last night (09May07) when he jetted in from a film shoot in South Dakota to help her launch her spring fashion line. Cage, who is filming the sequel to National Treasure with Dame Helen Mirren, was a surprise guest at designer Christina Fulton's launch party, held at trendy Los Angeles store Sugar. He arrived with wife Alice Kim, stayed long enough to give his ex-girlfriend's new line the thumbs up and then left the party in style - in a vintage Rolls Royce. Fulton, who is the mother of Cage's teenage son Weston, was thrilled to see her ex at the party: "We'll always be very close. Nic's a wonderful guy." Cage wasn't the only celebrity at the party - Grindhouse twins Elise and Electra Varellan and Britney Spears' one-time love rival Shar Jackson were also in attendance.
