DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES star JAMES DENTON has been confirmed as the host of the World Music Awards on Wednesday (31AUG05). The event, to be staged at Hollywood's Kodak Theatre, will feature live performances from MARIAH CAREY, CARLOS SANTANA, DESTINY'S CHILD and BON JOVI.
