Phil Collins is convinced his late father returned from the grave to protect the veteran rocker's children.

The former Genesis drummers' dad GREVILLE died in 1972 - but Collins claims his father exercised supernatural powers when his children repeatedly had their electric blankets pulled from their beds "as if a ghost had done it".

The I CAN FEEL IT IN THE AIR TONIGHT star then discovered the blankets were dangerously faulty, and a medium advised that it was his father trying to protect his grandchildren.

He adds, "Since then, I don't consider people nut cases any more if they talk about being in contact with their dead."
