Czech supermodel Petra Nemcova has opened a school and computer center in Thailand to help children affected by the 2004 tsunami. The model's boyfriend photographer Simon Atlee was killed in the disaster, while Nemcova herself was badly injured. Since the tragedy, she set up the Happy Hearts Fund - which helps children affected by natural disasters and other hardships. And a recent trip back to Thailand made her realise the organisation has made a difference. She says, "We opened up a school and a computer center in Thailand just three weeks ago. Fifty (children) were trying to hold me and bring me to show me the classrooms. They were so excited - when we got there, we were jumping around. It was amazing to see that it really touches their lives and makes them really happy."
