Petra Nemcova has revealed Marchesa will design her wedding gown as she has worked with the label for years.
Petra Nemcova's wedding dress will be designed by Marchesa.
The model is set to tie the knot with actor Jamie Belman next summer and thinks it is "nice" to wear a creation by British designers Keren Craig and Georgina Chapman because she has worked with their label for so many years.
She told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: "There are some things set in stone. The date, June 2012, is set, and it will be in England - because we both love England - and it will be in the countryside. And the dress will be designed by Marchesa. The relationship with Marchesa for me has been for many, many years, since they started, and it's nice to be able to wear them on that special day. We still have one year to prepare so we are working on the other details."
As well as planning her wedding, Petra has been throwing herself into working with her charity, the Happy Hearts Fund - which she set up after surviving the 2004 Asian tsunami in which her fiance Simon Atlee died - to improve the lives of children after natural disasters.
She said: "In five years we have built 51 schools and we have a presence in nine countries around the world.
"That's our goal: to rebuild more schools and help rebuild more lives of children who were affected by natural disasters."
