'Game Of Thrones' Cast Comment On Increased Workload During Season 7

Emilia Clarke Peter Dinklage

There's no denying the incredible cultural impact HBO fantasy series 'Game Of Thrones' has had over the six seasons that have aired to-date. Based on the incomplete novel series 'A Song of Ice and Fire' by George R. R. Martin, the show tells the story of a group of self-proclaimed leaders of various sections in the fictional land of Westeros and the Seven Kingdoms (and beyond), all vying for control of the entire nation and the Iron Throne that resides in King's Landing.

Following the season six finale, it was Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) who found herself on the throne, having lost all of her children to a variety of different deaths and killing off some of her adversaries in a wicked plot that snatched the life of fan favourite character, Margaery Tyrell (Natalie Dormer).

She forks out for three enormous billboards to go up in her Missouri town with a message to the highly respected Police Sheriff Bill Willoughby (Woody Harrelson). An embarrassed Willoughby visits her to encourage her to take the billboards down, but she's standing firm and will certainly not be intimidated by police involvement - or, indeed, anyone who dares complain about them. She assaults her dentist with his own drill after discovering that he made a complaint and attacks two local high school kids who try to mock her. Even the local vicar is trying to appeal to her sanity at this point, but when she torches the local police station, it becomes clear that she's quickly becoming way out of control.

Could Peter Dinklage Star In 'Avengers: Infinity War'?

Peter Dinklage

Rumours have surfaced that Peter Dinklage is going to star in 'Avengers: Infinity War' next year, as he schedules filming in between his 'Game Of Thrones' commitments. Production is expected to start this summer, and will also star Robert Downey Jr., Tom Holland, Brie Larson, Benedict Cumberbatch and Chris Pratt.

Peter DinklageWill Peter Dinklage star in 'Avengers: Infinity War'?

Golden Globe winning Dinklage - who plays Tyrion Lannister in 'Game Of Thrones' - has been filming the seventh season of the fantasy series, but now that that is completed, he won't be returning until the Fall to shoot season eight. The question is; does this mean he has time to embark on the major project that is Marvel's 'Avengers: Infinity War'? According to Variety, quite possibly.

The Boss Review

Bad

Melissa McCarthy brings another of her improvisational alter-egos to the big screen with this energetic comedy. The first cause for pause comes because this is a reteaming with her filmmaker husband Ben Falcone, with whom she made the bizarrely unfunny Tammy, as opposed to the filmmaker Paul Feig who directed her to box office triumph with Spy and The Heat and an Oscar nomination in Bridesmaids. Yes, there's a significance difference.

This time she plays hugely popular financial guru Michelle Darnell, whose stardom ends abruptly when she is sent to prison for four months for insider trading. When she's released, everyone she stepped on as she rose to the top turns their back on her, and her nemesis/ex Renault (Peter Dinklage) is still determined to get revenge. The only person who will talk to her is former assistant Claire (Kristen Bell), so Michelle moves in with her family. Unable to restart her business, she also takes over the Dandelion Scout troup of Claire's daughter Rachel (Ella Anderson), pushing the girls to take aggressive measures to sell their cookies.

As always, McCarthy throws herself into the role, creating a vivid character who indulges in a lot of outrageously silly slapstick. As with Tammy, the humour centres more on abusive interaction and humiliation than actual wit. McCarthy and Falcone strain to get laughs from physical wackiness rather than anything based on the character, so the movie only ever feels mildly amusing thanks to its high energy. But there's nothing engaging about Michelle, and it's only in a few cute-warm scenes with the terrific Bell that the film springs to anything resembling life. Thankfully, her scenes with the likeable Tyler Labine (as a potential boyfriend) have a loose humour to them. And Dinklage is surprisingly amusing as the sputtering cartoonish villain, while Kathy Bates generates a few sparks as Michelle's sassy mentor.

A New Trailer Brings More Clues For 'Game Of Thrones' Season 6

Game Of Thrones Kit Harington Emilia Clarke Peter Dinklage

Waiting for 'Game Of Thrones' season 6 to arrive is emotional turmoil for fans. First they had to go through the grief of Jon Snow's death, then speculation that he's actually still alive (or, at least, coming back to life), then Kit Harington and his co-stars' insistences that he's very much dead, and now this; a string of mysterious moments in a new trailer that could spell that it isn't the end for Snow after all.

Isaac Hempstead Wright and Max von Sydow in Game of ThronesBran Stark is having visions

What new clues have added to the possibility that Jon Snow (Kit Harington) will be returning to life? First off, we see Davos (Liam Cunningham) wielding Snow's sword as he prepares to defend his corpse alongside the Night's Watch against Alliser Thorne (Owen Teale), whose cronies are battering down the door. It's possible that Davos and co. are trying to stop Thorne and his men burning Snow's body (which they might do to ensure he doesn't become a White Walker), but why would they need to do that if he was really dead? Of course, it could be a dignity thing.

Game Of Thrones Kit Harington Isaac Hempstead-Wright Peter Dinklage Emilia Clarke Lena Headey

It's an exciting day for 'Game Of Thrones' fans because HBO have just unveiled some new images from the upcoming season 6 which have already got the cogs in our minds working. They don't really confirm an awful lot about what to expect from the next season, but it certainly teases a few ideas.

Isaac Hempsted-Wright and Max von Sydow in Game Of ThronesBran Stark is back and accompanied by the Three-Eyed Raven

First of all it has to be said that there are no new images of Jon Snow (Kit Harington) since that ambiguous blood-stained face picture, but there are more of his younger brother Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright) who we haven't seen for a whole season, not since the Season 4 finale 'The Children'. He looks like his standing up too, contrary to what he was told by the Three-Eyed Raven that he wouldn't be able to walk again and that he'd only be able to fly. He's actually accompanied by the Three-Eyed Raven too, played by new actor Max von Sydow.

"Game Of Thrones" Recap: "The Mountain And The Viper" And A Whole World Of NO

Emilia Clarke Sophie Turner Peter Dinklage Iwan Rheon

Game of Thrones, it’s been too long. But here we are, on the other side of The Mountain and the Viper and Tyrion’s trial by combat. Let’s recap – as usual, ALL OF THE SPOILERS ahead.

Before the main event, we join Gilly at her new job as a serving girl in Mole’s Town, where things are about to go down. “Things” in this case refers to a gang of wildlings, including our old friend Ygritte, who descend on the village and slaughter without mercy. Well, not entirely. At one point Ygritte finds Gilly cowering in a corner with baby Sam. Instead of doing her whole killing shtick, however, Ygritte spares our favorite new mum and moves on on her merry way. Good times.

"Game Of Thrones" Champions Face-Off: Place Your Bets

Pedro Pascal Peter Dinklage

There was no Game of Thrones episode last week, which means that hardcore fans are getting some severe Thrones withdrawal symptoms right around this point. These may include, but are not limited to: twitching, obsessive humming of the theme tune, increased stress levels, ending any and all arguments by yelling: “YOU KNOW NOTHING, JON SNOW,” whispering “winter is coming” in your sleep, increased appetite due to lack of gore, sunlight allergies and ordering everyone to refer to you as “khaleesi”.

Peter Dinklage
There's no question who we want to win.

If you’re displaying any of these symptoms, don’t panic, get plenty of rest and use the free week for some speculation on the upcoming episode.

How To Sum Up 'Game Of Thrones' In 45 Secs: Ask Peter Dinklage

Peter Dinklage

How we wish we had a Peter Dinklage by our side before an English Lit exam, ready to dispense perfectly compact plot nuggets that completely summed up whichever Shakespearean play we were cramming for. The Game of Thrones actor recently proved his knack for condensing a storyline by summarising the entire fantasy series A Song of Ice and Fire in minimal words and less than 30 seconds.

Peter Dinklage Has Summed Up The Entire 'GoT' Series Hilariously & Succinctly.

The 44 year-old actor stopped by MTV to discuss his new movie, X-Men: Days of Future Past, but the conversation soon turned to his career-defining role as Tyrion Lannister in the long-running HBO fantasy drama. He was more than happy to try to summarise the George R. R. Martin's seven books in as few words as possible under 45 seconds and came up with the following in just 30:

"Game Of Thrones" Recap: "Oathkeeper" Or Everyone Is Obsessed With Swords

Peter Dinklage Nikolaj Coster-Waldau Sophie Turner Emilia Clarke

It’s about that time again folks – time for everyone who hasn’t seen Game of Thrones to turn away their pretty, unspoiled heads and for the rest of us to get into the meat of this week’s episode. To be fair, Oathkeeper had far fewer traumatic and general WTF moments than we’ve been used to recently. It was, however, very heavy on story.

Peter DinklageTyrion seems to have found an ally in his brother.

We see Jaime continue his efforts to rebuild his good name in Westeros and any credibility whatsoever as a character. After he err… raped his sister in last week’s episode (come on, GoT writers, where did that re-write even come from?) his character growth might never be restored, but kudos on the writers for trying. In this episode, Jaime risks getting in some serious Cercei trouble (and possibly being executed) and sends Brienne to find Catelyn Stark’s daughters, so that he can fulfill his oath. He even gives her one of the Valyrian steel swords. She names it Oathkeeper, because metaphorical resonance is everything when you’re fighting for your life.

Game Of Thrones Recap: "The Lion And The Rose" AKA The Purple Wedding

Lena Headey Peter Dinklage Sophie Turner

It’s been two days since Game of Thrones, so anyone not caught up should be responsible for steering clear of spoilers. That said, if you aren’t caught up on Season 4, Episode 2, The Lion and the Rose, leave now or risk getting spoiled. Seriously. So many spoilers below.

Jack Gleeson
The deplorable king Joffrey is actually a pretty great guy in real life, say his co-stars.

Ok, now that that’s taken care of, let’s talk weddings. There was another one happening on GoT this week, which, in this show, is enough to make you cringe in fear. Remember the last one? Of course you do. But there’s some time until the Purple Wedding and the first thing we see is The Bastard of Bolton, out for a spot of hunting. Well, if you call letting a bunch of dogs loose on a young woman “hunting” that is (hopefully you don’t, because that surely indicates some severe mental disorder). Any way, the unnamed young woman, whom Ramsay Snow apparently kidnapped, was dead within the first five minutes. It was that kind of episode. What exactly was the purpose of that? To remind us that Ramsay is a sadistic creep maybe? We did see Theo Greyjoy on the sidelines, obviously broken and on the edge of sanity. So there’s that.

It’s (almost) Game of Thrones time. No, we’re not shutting up about it, if you were wondering. HBO’s inescapable marketing is at least partly to blame for the flood of Thrones-related madness online these days. "Game Of Thrones" Trailer #4: Baby Starks And General Gloom And Doom

Hear ye, hear ye! The fourth and final Game of Thrones trailer is now live for everyone to enjoy… which essentially means we get the same scenes and voiceovers, only in a different cut and with new background music. We have to hand it to those GoT people – they sure know how to pick a soundtrack.

Watch the trailer below and be even more excited for Season 4 (if that’s even possible.)

Some new things that are made obvious in this cut – and there definitely isn’t much to go on – is that the next generation of Starks will play a much more important role this season. We saw in previous trailers that Bran’s warg-ness is getting stronger, so he will probably get at the very least a couple of cool scenes in season 4.

If you thought red weddings, white walkers and Wildling takeovers were exciting last season, wait until you see what's in store for season four of HBO's epic Game of Thrones. On Sunday, 12 January, the first trailer for the new season was aired on HBO, with said trailer going viral soon after.

Emilia Clarke
Emilia Clarke is back as the ass-kicking Daenerys Targaryen

As this is Game of Thrones, don't expect the trailer to be anything short of a major dose of excitement and drama, even if it is just over a minute long. There's dragons, witches and threats of war on all fronts in the trailer, and if that wasn't enough excitement there are some fairly clear hints of what story developments are going to be on offer too, the most obvious one being the marriage of everyone's least favourite incest-born creep King Joffrey to the lovely Margaery Tyrell. We're probably not alone in hoping she turns evil.

And Breathe: Audience Catches A Break With Game Of Thrones Finale [Recap]

Peter Dinklage Lena Headey Maisie Williams Emilia Clarke Kit Harington

This week on Game of Thrones, viewers were let off easy for the finale – the producers probably realised that we are all still recovering from last week’s episode and the Red Wedding. But there were still a number of plot twists (beware of spoilers ahead.) After witnessing the brutal murders of some of her last remaining family members, Arya Stark got some measure of revenge by stabbing one of Walder Fray’s soldiers, as her captor-turned-companion Sandor "The Hound" Clegane took care of the soldier’s comrades. Obviously, the violence will keep getting worse from here on, but after last week’s episode, Thrones fans seem to be able to stomach anything.

Then we had Jaime Lannister, finally back at King’s Landing and reunited with his twin sister Cersei, while Jon Snow had a reunion of another kind, returning to the night’s watch, after escaping the wrath of his scorned lover, wildling Ygritte. On two opposite sides of the GoT universe, two very different characters continued their journeys. While Bran walked on towards his destination north of the wall – a journey, which still seems rather inexplicable, Daenerys Targeryen continued to build her power through the love of her people and finally freed the slaves of Yunkai. While some rise and others fall, as usual in the game of thrones (which you win or you die, as Robb Stark and co. reminded us last week) something altogether darker and more sinister is brewing north of the wall – the White Walkers and their army of undead.

Of course, we got the occasional quip from Tyrion Lannister (the ever entertaining Peter Dinklage) to lighten the mood, but after recent events, let’s just say that there’s a whole lot of lightening to do.

Romance Explored In 'Game Of Thrones' Season 3 Episode 7

Peter Dinklage Game Of Thrones

There was an emotional goodbye on Game Of Thrones last night, with Brienne of Tarth parting ways with Jaime Lannister and causing moist eyes among characters and viewers alike.

The one-time brutal Lannister character – who’d once killed a King he’d sworn to protect – has made quite the advancement as Game of Thrones came on, and the latest episode was one of his most poignant moments yet. It’s unknown whether the goodbye between he and Brienne is going to be forever, but with Brienne off to find her fate out at the hand’s Lord Bolton’s man Locke it doesn’t look like she’s going to come to a happy end, not given she already has a few battle marks from her last skirmish with Bolton.

However, Brienne addressed Jaime with a name that he’d not been called in ages, given that he’d been known as the Kingslayer ever since his infamous incident. This noble gesture caused a break down in Lannister and he swore to Brienne to protect the Starks, even though they are his sworn enemies. Good stuff, and proof of the strong bond the pair have forged.

This weeks Game Of Thrones was, essentially, more of a carry-on from last week rather than the great plot un-ravellers that weeks four and six were, but still it did have some rather exciting twists and turns, and as the title dictates, it included another untimely run in with Brienne and a bear, not that she's had the best of times since beginning her journey with Jamie to King's Landing began.

Brienne's encounter with Locke and his band of misfits looked to be the end of the Brienne we know, but her run in with that bear looked as though it would be the end of the character all together. Good to know that Westeros' most unlikely will-they-wont-they love story will continue for a little longer, although it would be rather unlikely that Jamie Lannister would end up hooking up with Brienne, even if they are pretty much best friends/constant life savers at the moment.

Elsewhere Arya has left the Brotherhood Without Banners after Gendry was hauled away by Melisandre and co. last week, only thing is she ended up right into the arms of the Hound (the last place anyone wants to be). Gendry meanwhile found out why he has been so longed for most of his life, as his royal origins as the bastard son of Robert Baratheon were revealed to him. Speaking of sons, the biggest (inbred) sonofabitch in the seven kingdoms, Joffrey, was finally put in his place by big daddy Lannister Tywin, after getting a little too uppity. It has to be said, whilst his sadistic tendencies are still in check despite Margaery Tyrell best efforts, we may have a royal family bust up in our hands very soon (we hope).

Game Of Thrones Review Roundup – Season 3 Episode 5: Kissed By Fire

Peter Dinklage Game Of Thrones

Hello fantasy drama fans; it’s Monday, and you know what that means. It’s time to take a look at the reviews for the weekend’s delectations TV-wise. And on the menu today is some Game Of Thrones, served up, as is customary, with a side of blood and guts. Spoiler alert, obviously.

Five episodes in to season three now, and things are getting serious. “Seasons one and two were both good,” say Forbes, “but the third has been some of the best television I’ve ever watched. I’m riveted by nearly every scene, and Sunday night’s episode is no exception.” This episode sees political tensions rise as the myriad strands are sewing up tighter as the Sundays go by. “Wherever it goes, I’ll be watching. I’m firmly under the show’s spell at this point, whether in the icy north or the dusty sun of Slaver’s Bay. HBO has brought life many of the characters from the books who felt too flat, and have stayed true to the characters who were already fleshed out in the books,” add Forbes in there review. And they weren’t the only ones who were impressed. “Back to back episodes featuring Dany, what a treat for us fans. The dragons must have been off fishing, but Grey Worm hooked me right in when he decided to keep his slave name because of his recent change in fortune. You had to give it to the guy for staying so positive after everything he has been through,” say TV Fanatic, and with a name like that, they should know.

Game of Thrones season five is shaping up to be HBO’s crown jewel for summer broadcasting. The dark fantasy drama has garnered many fans since it debuted three years ago, and it doesn’t look like relenting with a fourth season confirmed.

Video - Peter Dinklage, Evan Rachel Wood And Busy Philipps Appear At 'A Case Of You' Premiere At The Tribeca Film Festival

The arrivals for the premiere 'A Case of You' at the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival in New York seemed to be expecting some new arrivals as three of the women working on the movie are heavily pregnant. One of the stars, Evan Rachel Wood ('Thirteen'), showed off her bump in a floral Dolce & Gabbana maxi dress while another actress, Busy Philipps ('Cougar Town'), was looking quite far on in a black jumpsuit. The director herself, Kat Coiro ('L!fe Happens'), was snapped gleefully clutching her own bump with her husband, Rhys Coiro, in tow.

Game Of Thrones Season 3 Episode 4: Was It The Best Episode Yet? [Spoilers]

Peter Dinklage Diana Rigg Game Of Thrones

Season three episode four of Game Of Thrones is all about revenge. The final minutes of the episodes were a stunning crescendo, with the masters of Astapor learning that "a dragon is not a slave," in the worst possible way. The episode was arguably the one instalment of the season that wouldn't have looked out of place on the big-screen - it had real cinematic moments, thanks to director Alex Graves.

In the episode - And Now His Watch Has Ended - Peter Dinklage's Tyrion discusses the Battle of the Blackwater with Lord Varys. Does Varys have proof that the Queen tried to have Tyrion killed? Elsewhere, Diana Rigg's Lady Elenna meets with Varys to discuss her interest in Sansa

In the North, Bran has another of his crazy dreams where he is running through the woods with Jojen Reed chasing the tree-eyed-crow. He climbs a tree in pursuit of the crow, but falls when he sees his mother who begs him not to climb again: but what does it all mean? Over in the Riverlands, Arya, Gendry and Sandor Clegane are being transported to the hideout of the Brotherhood without Banners by Thoros and his men. There, they are introduced to Beric Dondarrion, to calls Clegane a murderer - something he refutes. Arya tells the Brotherhood of Micah that Clegane killed.

Game Of Thrones Star Peter Dinklage Gets Loads Of Sex – If Sex Means Gardening

Peter Dinklage Game Of Thrones

Peter Dinklage’s character in Game Of Thrones (Tyrion Lannister) is known for his way with women and numerous exploits of the many whorehouses within the Seven Kingdoms despite his diminutive stature. But these types of exploits aren’t mirrored in his day life by a long shot.

A video, which goes into detail about Dinklage’s sex life (entitled 'Peter Dinklage Gets So Much P***y') is the subject of a Playboy Magazine question to the actor. “By ‘p***y’ do they mean actual p***y? Or is it a metaphor, like for gardening?” he responds. “Because if that’s the case, then yes, I’ve been doing a lot of gardening lately. If they mean sex, they might be getting me confused with somebody else. But if p***y means wearing old-man sweaters and watering my herb garden, then absolutely, I’m getting so much p***y.” Considering Dinklage is a happily married man, the prospect of any extra-marital gardening going on is actually rather serious and we’re pretty sure he saves all his Lannister loving for his lawfully wedded wife. They’ve got a daughter, too, her name is Erica.

Last Night's SNL Was Hosted By Melissa McCarthy. Hilarity Ensued.

Melissa McCarthy Peter Dinklage

Mellissa McCarthy had her second turn hosting SNL last night and, according to popular opinion, it was good.

Everyone knows that McCarthy’s biggest strength is in physical comedy and she didn’t disappoint on this week's SNL – from stumbling around in heels, to flailing in an eerily accurate impression of fired Rutgers basketball coach Mike Rice. Naturally, SNL picked the hot topic as their centerpiece sketch, in which McCarthy played the terrifying coach of a women’s basketball team. Rice may have shoved players and hurled slurs, but Cathy’s Sheila Kelly was equally as obnoxious, throwing toasters and making her players cook her meals on court. The reproductions of practice video and the character's "only in women's basketball" haircut, suit and shoes made the sketch a win.

The food theme continued throughout the night, probably because SNL writers didn’t have too many current events to sink their teeth into this week. Sports also made an appearance in several other sketches, like Kenan Thompson making an appearance on "Weekend Update" as Charles Barkley, sending up Sir Charles' fondness for gambling and constant ribbing of Michael Jordan ("the Michael Jordan of gambling"). Oh and let’s not forget Peter Dinklage’s cameo as Bobby Moynihan's drunk uncle, Peter Drunklage. By this point everyone’s agreed that anything Dinklage touches turns to gold, right?

The Station Agent actor Peter Dinklage has joined the cast of the latest X-Men movie Days of Future Past. The casting of Dinklage is a strong move from Singer and the team - he won Best Supporting Actor at the Golden Globes in 2012 for his role as Tyrion Lannister in HBO's Game of Thrones. It's yet to be determined which role he will play in the forthcoming X-Men movie, which is co-written by Matthew Vaughan, the director of the previous movie. The franchise has spawned five movies so far, including the 2009 Wolverine spin-off. A follow-up to that film, The Wolverine, is due out this summer with Hugh Jackman's character travelling to Japan to train with a Samurai warrior.

Forget Champagne, Crack Open A 'Game Of Thrones' Beer This Christmas

Stephen Dillane Peter Dinklage Game Of Thrones

Ok, so we got you a little excited with the headline. We weren't telling the whole truth, as the aforementioned Game Of Thrones beer isn't scheduled for release until March 31, 2013, though maybe you could save a couple of bottles for next Christmas? Anyway, what's it all about?

The upstate New York brewery Ommegang has formed a partnership with HBO to release an exclusive Game of Thrones themed ale to coincide with series three. The popular fantasy franchise has inspired a series of four beers, the first of which - a 6.5 per cent ABV blonde named Iron Throne - will hit shelves on March 31. Ommegang spokeswoman Allison Capozza described the flavor as "lightly malty" and is hopped with Styrian Holding, Hallertau and Noble hops. It will retail at $8.50 for a 750 millilitre bottle.  Three other beers are scheduled for fall 2013 (in time for Christmas) though are "just a concept at this point," according to Capozza.

HBO has a history of food and drink themed promotional campaigns for Game of Thrones. To celebrate the debut of Season 2, the network commissioned celebrity chef Tom Colicchio to cruise around New York and Los Angeles in a Game of Thrones themed food truck. According to the Washington Post, he served up delicacies such as rabbit, pigeon cooked in sweet wine and fish stew.

Ice Age: Continental Drift Review

Very Good
Very early on, this series completely jettisoned any respect for science, gleefully ignoring the laws of gravity end geology to carry on the family-friendly series of dangers encountered by this growing herd of misfit semi-prehistoric creatures. It's not very clever, but it's still good fun.

When the ice shelf suddenly cracks in two, mammoth Manny (Romano) finds himself adrift with sabre-tooth Diego (Leary), sloth Sid (Leguizamo) and Sid's toothless granny (Sykes). But as they attempt to get home, they're waylaid by a pirated iceberg sailed by Captain Gutt (Dinklage) and his scurvy crew.

Meanwhile, Manny's wife Ellie (Latifah) and their mildly rebellious daughter Peaches (Palmer) are trying to outrun the shifting continental plates. And the film's real star Scrat is on a hunt for a hidden acorn treasure.

A Little Bit Of Heaven Review

OK
Shot in the style of a bland Hollywood rom-com, this film is actually a weepie drama with a bit of magical realism thrown in. It's such an odd hybrid that we're never sure whether we should laugh or cry. So we do neither.

Marley (Hudson) is a high-flying New Orleans advertising exec who doesn't believe that romance is necessary. Although she does have loyal friends: ditsy colleague Sarah (Punch), happy family woman Renee (DeWitt) and cheerful neighbour Peter (Malco). On the other hand, she tries to avoid to her estranged, warring parents (Bates and Williams). Then during a medical test, she has a vision of God (Goldberg), who grants her three wishes before she dies of cancer. But she certainly isn't seeking the love that grows between her and Julian (Garcia Bernal), her doctor.

Death At A Funeral Review

OK
If you've seen Frank Oz's 2007 British comedy, it feels rather pointless to watch this almost word-for-word remake. Sure, the setting is different, but the uneven mixture of slapstick and sentiment are still here, so newcomers might find it diverting.

Aspiring author Aaron (Rock) is preparing his father's funeral amid all kinds of distractions. His novelist brother Ryan (Lawrence) jets in from New York, but won't help at all. His wife Michelle (Hall) is pushing him to move out from their mother's (Devine) house. The boyfriend (Marsden) of his cousin (Saldana) has just accidentally been given a hallucinogen. Uncle Russell (Glover) is on the rampage. And a small man (Dinklage) has something shocking to announce.

Through all of this, Aaron's hypochondriac best friend Norman (Morgan) tries to maintain some semblance of order. But he's useless.
