Pete Doherty's first concert following his recent release from prison will be staged in the afternoon because the rocker is under court-ordered house detention at night.
The former Libertines frontman was freed from jail earlier this week (beg04Jul11) after serving six weeks of a six-month sentence for possessing cocaine.
He planned to mark his freedom with a gig in London, but authorities have fitted him with an electronic tag and banned him from leaving his home in south west England between the hours of 7pm and 7am.
The singer/songwriter has instead announced he will perform a matinee show at a venue in Camden, London on Saturday afternoon (09Jul11).
In a post on the venue's website, the concert organisers state, "This will be his first show since his release from prison earlier this week."
