Singer Pete Doherty has been arrested on suspicion of drugs possession just hours after performing at V festival in Staffordshire.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan police service (MPS) said that a 28-year-old man had been arrested in Tower Hamlets at 02:29 BST this morning.
A further two people, a man and a woman, were also arrested and taken to an east London police station. All three remain in custody.
Doherty was told earlier this month at a sentencing hearing for drugs charges that he could face a custodial sentence unless he shows commitment to giving up drugs.
His band Babyshambles played at both V festival sites - Chelmsford and Staffordshire - this weekend.
Their second performance at the Staffordshire site was delayed after the band were stuck in traffic.
However, they eventually played to a packed tent at around 22:00 BST.
