LIBERTINES star Pete Doherty gave fans an intimate treat recently, by playing two secret shows at his own flat in London.

Over 40 excited people turned up to watch Doherty - who ended a stint in prison last month (OCT03) for burgling bandmate Carl Barat's flat in a drug-induced frenzy - and he performed two sets for half of the audience each.

Each set was about 40 minutes long and featured highlights of the Libertines album UP THE BRACKET, including their hit DON'T LOOK BACK INTO THE SUN and unreleased fan favourite WHAT KATY DID.

During the first set, Doherty gave out presents to fans, including a very rare set of STROKES playing cards and a fringed jacket.
