Troubled British rocker Pete Doherty has been ordered to complete a drug rehabilitation programme after he was found guilty of possessing drugs.
The Babyshambles frontman, 26, was sentenced to a 12-month community order today (08FEB06) at Ealing Magistrates Court in London.
If Doherty fails to complete rehab he could face a prison sentence, a judge ruled.
The singer, ex-boyfriend of supermodel Kate Moss, has been in police custody since 26 January (06) when he was arrested for his third drug offence in a month.
Doherty pleaded guilty to a total of seven charges of possessing various illegal substances.
